House of 1000 Corpses Review [Hilarious]

The Rundown: Two teenage couples searching for urban legends of serial killers in the Texas backwoods end up as captives of a bizarre and sadistic backwater family of serial killers.

Rob Zombie's filmography begins with House of 1000 Corpses, which he wrote and directed. It has much of the trappings you'd expect from a Rob Zombie film: unlikable characters, obscenity for the purpose of vulgarity, and his wife has a leading part in which she gets to show off a lot of flesh. Is there, however, a genuinely terrible story to be told behind all of this? No, yet it appeals to certain individuals.
